JRodos June 2009 Release Notes
JRodos June 2009 is compatible with the JRodos Demonstration Update 2, Update 3 version, so if you have Update 2 or later installed you don't need to recreate databases, if you have older (or don't have any) JRodos versions, please use _restoreDB
script before the first run.
HOW TO INSTALL JRodos June 2009
Unzip JRodosJune2009.zip into a folder which full path doesn't contain exotic symbols (e.g. Cyrillic letters).
cd JRodosJune2009.
On Unix set an executable attribute to the following files: JRodos.sh, update.sh, _restoreDB.sh, jre/linux/bin/*, Manager/DB/PostgreSQL/restore.sh.
If you have JRodosDemonstration Update2 or later installed - run update.cmd (update.sh). Otherwise - run _restoreDB.cmd (_restoreDB.sh).
You need to redefine mappings “NWP provider - site(s)“
Run JRodos.cmd (JRodos.sh) as usual and enjoy the updated system.

Changes since JRodos Demonstration Update 3
Bugs fixed
“Can not run DemoUpdate2 on some XP machines” (# 230 in Bugzilla)
Zero LSMC results for 320km grid radius (# 251 in Bugzilla)
MATCH model failure for IMGW provider for some remote points.
Improvements
Up to date documentation and help!
NWP data provider can be related to several NPP
Collapse/expand button for dialogs “Show NWP” and “Show Measurements”,
Dialogs are non-modal, and allow to work with the main application.
LSMC, EMERSIM and FDMT have separate Rolite interface.
This is seen while working with LSMC+EMERSIM+DEPOM+FDMT model chain or on creating a custom model chain.
Map Legend is movable from/to main Map Component.
LSMC Automate Input Summary can be added to a manual report.
Results from different projects are not mixed together on a map.
Copying table with column headers
MATCH model compatible with GRIB data from COSMO provider, Russia
Speed Improvements
Grid with radius 320km Elevation + Landuse for LSMC
old times - 1.5 minutes; new times - 8 seconds!!
ALSMC model - 15% computational time reduction,
RLSMC and MATCH - 50% computational time reduction!
LSMC + EMERSIM + DEPOM + FDMT
48 hours prognose, 1 hour timestep,
standard sourceterm, user-defined weather,
grid 200km * 200km (radius 100km)
ATSTEP LSMC - 4 minutes*
RIMPUFF LSMC - 5 minutes*
* Intel Core2Duo 2.2 Ghz, 2 Gb RAM
New features:
North Arrow added to Map Control
Filtering and column sorting for dialogs “Open Project”, “Delete Project”, “Delete NWP Data”, “Delete Measurements”
POSEIDON model added
FDMF model added. Usable through Model Chain Editor
AgriCP model, early alpha version. Usable through Model Chain Editor. No UI, no documentation!
